    When Archie Müller started to use a four track for a source of inspiration back in 1997, combining instruments he found at an old farmhouse (organ, drum computer, acoustic guitar, harmonica and vintage synthesizers) Schinderwies Productions was born. In the course of his early releases (cassettes and CD-R) Archie produced a CD using recordings he made with friends in Memphis, later to be dubbed over in Regensburg, "Midtown Bikes <Memphis Homerecordings>" being the last part of a period of deconstructing influences from the Sixties. With his solo project Müller, Archie also had recorded "Nose Songs," adapting chords and language style from Bob Dylan´s "Blonde On Blonde" album, keeping the essential song structures but using his own personal lyrics. This period was followed by one of experimenting with digital sounds and hard disc recording. Ever since, Archie has been busy launching the Schinderwies label. At the same time he keeps exploring the combination of acoustic and digital sounds worked into song structures. A little sample can be heard on the 7" compilation "One" (12 artists recorded one minute-songs), released by Localstandardtime, Cologne.
